“Genesis of Self-Introspection” is the final exhibition of the 25th anniversary of the adult art studio of the Vincas Grybas Memorial Museum.
The painting exhibition features medieval architectural motifs, mainly rosettes. The idea arose when the 120th anniversary of the birth of the famous medieval architecture and art researcher Jurgis Baltrušaitis Jr. was celebrated in 2023. The first project to commemorate this art researcher was the sculpture project “Fantastic Creatures”, and the second, the creation of which lasted at least 4 months, was the motifs of medieval ornaments in architecture.
