EARLY BAROQUE MUSICAL JOURNEY FROM SOUTHERN GERMANY TO ITALY

EARLY BAROQUE MUSICAL JOURNEY FROM SOUTHERN GERMANY TO ITALY – this is the second concert of the Panemunė Castle Early Music Festival 2025.
PERFORMERS:
JOHANNA BERGMANN (Kralsheim) – harpsichord,  “TOCCO MUSICALE”, instrumental early music ensemble (Jurbarkas)

The concert intertwines pearls of early Baroque music from Southern Germany and Italy. These two regions, although geographically distant, are closely connected in the history of music, and this concert reveals their connections and musical dialogues.
The program will feature works by composers Bernardo Pasquini, Johann Speth, Johann Pachelbel, Johann Caspar Kerll and others. Each of them is a unique reflection of the Baroque era, revealing the musical culture and aesthetic trends of that time.

This concert is not only an opportunity to hear wonderful early Baroque music, but also to take a journey through time, feel the connection between eras and experience a unique musical communion.
