Fire & Water. Reflective Architecture

Applications Now Open for the International KUNO/NBAA/CIRRUS Course

Students from the KUNO/NBAA/CIRRUS networks are invited to apply for Fire & Water. Reflective Architecture, an international interdisciplinary course exploring the intersections of architecture, art, and design, with a particular focus on experimental spatial structures and the expressive potential of light, fire, and water reflections.

The creative workshop will take place at Panemunė Castle on 7–14 December 2026. Participants will develop artistic and spatial concepts, experiment with materials and forms, and collaborate in an international, multidisciplinary team. The ideas developed during the course will contribute to the fireworks display at the Baltic Manor Festival, to be held at Panemunė Castle on 3 July 2027.

The course is open to Bachelor’s and Master’s students in architecture, sculpture, scenography, site-specific and monumental art, painting, and product design from higher education institutions within the KUNO/NBAA/CIRRUS networks.

📅 Application deadline: 25 October 2026

📄 Applicants are required to submit a motivation letter and a portfolio of creative work in PDF format, comprising up to 12 slides.
