“Baroque Spring in Biržai 2025” and “Panemunė Castle Early Music Festival” join forces for the first time and invite listeners to an exclusive concert dedicated to the pearls of 18th-century music. The core of the program consists of delicate dialogues between the flute and the harpsichord, revealing the beauty and technical capabilities of these instruments. The instruments that were especially loved by Baroque composers – the flute, capable of conveying the softest and brightest shades, and the harpsichord, which has become an iconic voice of the Baroque – are revealed in the unique musical spirit of the era, in which composers perfect the famous “stile italiano” and “stile concertato”. This concert is not only an opportunity to hear wonderful Baroque music, but also to experience the magic of the collaboration of two important festivals, which opens up new horizons of early music.
The concert is free, only with a castle ticket (4 €)
